Privacy Policy
The short version: we don't track you. No analytics, no ads, no tracking cookies — here is exactly what that means in plain English.
The Plain-English Version
Civic Ledger Prep is a static study site, and we have deliberately kept it that way. We run no third-party analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, we do not sell or share data, and there is nothing here trying to follow you around the web. The only information that leaves your browser is the ordinary request your device makes to load a page — the same request any website receives.
What We Do and Don't Collect
To be concrete about it, here is the whole picture in one table.
| Data | Do we collect it? |
|---|---|
| Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.) | No. None are loaded on any page. |
| Advertising or ad-network trackers | No. The site carries no ads. |
| Tracking or marketing cookies | No. We set no cookies for tracking. |
| Account, name, or password | No. There is no account to create. |
| Your practice answers and score | No. The quiz runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing back to us. |
| Standard server request log (IP, page, timestamp, user-agent) | Yes — the normal hosting log every site keeps, used only to serve pages and keep the site secure. |
| An email you choose to send us | Only if you email us — kept solely to reply, never sold or added to a marketing list. |
Your Practice Session Stays in Your Browser
The practice test is a self-contained widget: the questions load with the page, and picking answers, stepping between questions, and tracking your running score all happen locally on your device. None of that is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Close the tab and the session is gone — we never see how you did.
Hosting and Security Logs
Like every website, our host records basic technical request data — your IP address, the page requested, a timestamp, and your browser's user-agent string. This standard log is used only to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, is not tied to any identity, and is not used to advertise to you or profile you. We do not combine it with anything else.
Because we collect essentially nothing about you, there is little to request, correct, or delete — but if you have a question about your data, email hello@civilserviceaptitude.com and we will answer plainly. This policy was last reviewed in September 2026; if it changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
